Thrown Into A New World: Let The Punishment Begin!

Chapter 824

While he did not like this horse, the intensity of aura surrounding the other etcher made him quiet down soon enough.

Those standing around were surprised to witness this sudden outburst but before they could even react, the chaos had already ended.

Yvonne suspiciously alternated her gaze between the two etchers who were now leering at each other.

‘What’s wrong, Demon?’ She inquired first without blaming her etcher for what must have happened earlier.

She trusted him and knew that he would not be the one to start fights randomly.

The biggest proof for her trust was the etchers around him who were nosy and troubled him every time they came by.

.....

Rouge, Kiara, and even Fryght were on this list but Demon had been nothing but patient with them.

However, when he faced Celestial for the first time, something like this had taken place so she wished to learn what must have caused it.

Demon averted his gaze and glanced at his Master, repeating exactly what had been said to him by the little cat.

Shock and amusement had appeared on her face in the next second.

Yvonne was surprised that the cute cat had said something so absurd to her adorable horse but at the same time, she was amused at Demon’s response to the insult aimed at him.

‘Why are you so cute!?’ She hugged her horse by the neck, not at all upset with him like he had assumed she would be.

The very idea of Demon even threatening to stomp Celestial was so funny to her that she couldn’t even imagine such a sight ever taking place in reality.

However, she also made sure to explain that he shouldn’t give out such threats, especially to those who were as close as family.

‘That cat isn’t family.’ Demon thought to himself but did not expose his thoughts to his master.

Now he understood why Fryght had chosen to disappear before they could arrive in order to not wreck his mood getting close to this new etcher.

‘I should have followed him too...’ He grumbled inwardly even though he knew that he never could deceive his Master by escaping before she could come by.

Yvonne was satisfied with his silence then turned her eyes towards the other etcher involved in this incident.

“Brother Taylor, could you please ask Celestial to not provoke Demon again?” She requested, trying her best to not sound accusatory.

This was their first time meeting so a little friction was inevitable but she hoped that it would subside with time.

She had already asked Demon to do his part to not further escalate such incidents that might cause disharmony and wished for Taylor to do the same.

Though she did not elaborate too much about what the two etchers must have said to each other, he nodded nevertheless and glanced down at the furry creature in his arms.

“Cel, Vonny is my little sister so, through that relation, Demon becomes your elder brother.” He taught his etcher their confusing family tree but saw the cat turn his face away without acknowledging his words.

A sheepish chuckle left Taylor’s lips as this had never happened in the past month that they had known each other.

The etcher had been hostile to new people but always quitened down after being instructed to do so.

Though this time it seemed that Celestial did not wish to pay respect to this ‘elder brother’ of his so he had buried his face into his master’s arms, not wanting to even glance at the other etcher.

Demon, on the other hand, had been smirking at the thought of being called ‘Elder brother’ by that disrespectful beast but soon raised his head in vigilance, his sharp gaze aimed in a certain direction.

“You still need to learn how to control your etcher, little brother.” A sarcastic chuckle echoed along with the sounds of numerous footsteps coming in their direction.

Not just Yvonne and the rest present here but even Demon was stunned after sensing the presence of a small group walking towards them.

‘Did you notice their presence earlier?’ The little girl questioned her etcher to be on the safe side, worried that she was the one with rusty skills.

However, the negative response she gained from Demon proved that even he had not sensed them until they were almost close to their location.

This came as a surprise to Yvonne, making her wonder what was different today which had led to them being taken by surprise.

‘Master... A new one.’ Demon’s stiff voice echoed in her mind once again, pulling her out of her thoughts regarding what had just taken place.

With this, Yvonne turned her gaze towards those who had reached them by now.

There was surprise in everyone’s eyes at the ones who had appeared here out of nowhere.

Walking at the front of the group was Topher Tanner, the one who had spoken just earlier, revealing the flaw in his little brother’s methods.

Yvonne gazed at this teenager’s hair which had grown much longer than the last time she had seen him, impressing her that he could pull off this new hairstyle.

Right next to him was his etcher, the pretty red fox, Rouge, who was wagging her gorgeous long tail which displayed her excitement and happiness for being here.

However, Topher’s long hair or Rouge’s smiling face wasn’t the sight that had stunned Yvonne and the rest.

It was the one who had been following behind this pair of etcher and etched.

With a lighter shade of brown-colored hair, Damien, the boy whom Yvonne had not seen even before this hectic six-month-long academic year had begun, had reappeared after a very long absence.

He had grown taller and while his hair might have turned a lighter shade than it had been in the past, those dark forest green eyes were just the same.

Though, right now, even he had not succeeded in gaining the little girl’s attention.

In fact, it was the figure shuffling along right next to him that had attracted her eyes, almost making her widen them until they could pop right out.

‘Oh my~!’ She exclaimed in her heart as her lips curved into a beautiful smile that revealed the affection and admiration that was bubbling up inside her right at this moment.

Celestial and Demon too were gazing right at this figure but it had been for reasons varying to what was running through her mind.

When this group had come to a halt before them, Howard and Taylor gawked at them with confusion apparent in their eyes.

Topher had informed their parents before leaving home this morning that he would be heading out to meet a friend but never bothered to reveal the rest of his itinerary of what he would do after this scheduled meeting.

Therefore, Taylor glowered at his elder brother who had stopped by unannounced, unlike him, who had informed Howard about his arrival yesterday itself.

However, he was also curious about the new figure that had appeared here today and Howard shared this feeling with him.

They had known for a while that Damien had been hiding a certain someone from them but had silenced them by promising to introduce them whenever he got the chance.

‘Looks like today is that day.’ Howard realized before fixing his gaze at the figure who stood next to Damien’s feet.

A pair of bright blue eyes were watching and observing them in silence from the moment they had arrived here.

As though the figure had felt Yvonne’s ardent and consistent gaze, those blue eyes turned to look at her.

“A samoyed?” Everyone heard the little girl mutter before she let out a tiny squeal in delight which they assumed she had tried to suppress but had failed miserably.

‘Samoyed?’ Muttering the strange word in their hearts, they wondered what it could mean.

Coming up blank, they turned towards her with confusion evident in their eyes but she was too focused on this figure to even be bothered about what they were thinking right now.

After all, Yvonne had never seen anything cuter than the figure next to Damien so it was obvious that it demanded all of her attention with none left for the rest.
