Summoned and Unwanted

Chapter 270

Lilith looked like a different person now that she wasn’t afraid or anxious. She spoke with a levelheaded tone which surprised Kazumi.

[Is this the same Lilith we know? Some of her points were in my head.]

[I feel like she said them before me...]

-Have you become jealous that Lilith might fight for the first spot as the brains of our group?-

Vincent chuckled while hearing Kazumi mumbling about how he should take his comment back and how no one can contend with her intelligence because of her Photographic Memory skill.

‘Kazumi is like Lupa. But she wants to be the brainy one instead.’ He thought.

Vincent then looked at the demon woman and stated, “I will not force you to accept being saved, but I became your owner to show something you must never speak about.”

Vincent removed his shirt, and Lilith’s eye sparkled. “I order you to not speak about what you see or hear until we leave this room.”

.....

Vincent made an order, and the slave curse tattoo glowed purple for a second. The order was registered, and the demon must now obey or suffer the consequences of her refusal.

The demon woman was shocked at what her eyes were looking at. Her face slightly blushed when she saw Lilith wiping the drool from her lips. However, the mark at the side of his stomach made her frown.

Vincent sat beside the demon and said, “I know I look like a pushy man, but I honestly want the people who suffered from that bastard of a noble to have a happy ending. I am not here to tell you to become my woman as I already have a beauty looking us.”

The demon looked at Lilith giggling like a fangirl and then at Vincent, looking at her with a reassuring gaze. Both acted as if she had been their friends for years.

“So... do you want me to make your weapons to kill people? Is that why you are kind to me even if you are branded?” She replied.

“That is some wild imagination, but I do appreciate being called scary. That means I can protect my women from harm.” He chuckled and then summoned the watch and his smartphone.

“I need your expertise to fix this watch’s strap and maybe create a power source for my smartphone. These are items from another world, and I can’t hand them over to someone I can’t trust.”

The demon couldn’t move her hands, so Vincent showed her the watch and smartphone. He, Kazumi, and Lilith were surprised to see the demon showing interest. Her eyes couldn’t stray away from the items.

“I come from another world, and the people like to call us invaders. But so what? I will not betray you.” He looked at Lilith and asked, “Lilith, will you betray her?”

“Why would I? Didn’t you tell me to treat your women like my new sisters? I will treat her like a sister... well, even though I don’t know how, hehe.” Lilith revealed how she didn’t seem to mind if it was to be with Vincent.

The demon woman was stuck in a daze from both shock and surprise. Vincent was the only person who didn’t want anything made that could harm another in her entire life. Furthermore, he revealed a dangerous secret that needed some time to process.

Vincent looked at the demon and stated, “I also thought having a blacksmith beauty on our side could increase our odds to survive in this world. So in a way, I need you, and you need me.”

The demon frowned. “You are lying about everything like all humans do! No one wants me, and how are you an invader when the century council of defense is in twenty-five years.” She seemed skeptical of his words.

“I am...”

*Ahhhh!*

[That voice! I’ll go ahead since I can go through walls.]

Kazumi said before going to check what was happening while Vincent stopped the moment he heard a young girl’s scream.

“Overheat.” He quickly said while wearing his shirt. Then he summoned a lot of used rags to cover his hot gauntlets after a quick arm spin.

Vincent approached the demon. However, before she wanted to reject being held by a human, Vincent lifted her tall and heavy body as if it was a pillow with his fifty-four strength.

“Be a good girl now. Let me princess carry you. If push comes to shove, I will kill anyone who tries to take you away from me before you decide if you want to live or not.” Vincent said with his hoarse voice.

The demon was currently feeling both shocked and surprised. She heard a few words she never thought of listening to, and a man was carrying her for the first time in her life. Additionally, the man with a glare, unable to leave his face, said how he would protect her. A human protect a demon.

‘This human... this man is different... does he speak the truth? Is his brand that of the invaders? But if so... he is kind like my brothers and father. He will not humiliate me like those...’ The demon woman thought when she noticed Lilith wasn’t with them.

The demon turned her head saw Lilith trying to keep up with the speeding Vincent. The demon became surprised by strong the human holding her was and ran as if he wasn’t carrying her.

‘Is he really and truthfully the monster of a human everyone fears? And why is he so kind to me when I am this ugly? He even called me a beauty... a brute like me...’ The demon pondered before she had to close her eyes as the light from the room was bright. The demon’s eyes were used to the darkness, and it hurt her eyes.

“Fucking assholes dare to attack Sofy and the girls.”

The demon heard Vincent’s outburst and a cold death glare staring at the closed door in front of him. She became confused about why Vincent swore menacingly in a room with no one other than them in it.

.

[3x Steel Sword (Common Quality) summoned. x3 remaining.]

.

Vincent summoned two swords in one hand and held the demon woman tightly with the other. Vincent ran for the door and kicked it with all his might.

The door broke in half, and a large guest hall greeted them with a horrible sight. The demon woman soon understood why he became so enraged.

Sofy had her whip wrapped around a soldier’s neck tightly. It was suffocating him. However, she wasn’t the one with an upper hand. There was one soldier behind the three little girls with his blade at their necks.

Eighteen other soldiers had their weapons drawn, and all of the soldiers had a Blackheart insignia on their chest armor. Three out of the eighteen soldiers had a small wand in their hands.

Vincent asked no questions. Three swords accurately darted with Kazumi’s direction towards the soldier holding the little girls as hostages when he appeared from behind two halves of the flying door.

Blood sprayed, and the blade around the little girls’ necks fell on the floor. The little girls screamed. They crouched down and hugged each other out of fear.

Sofy shook her whip. The whip became loose and stopped suffocating the soldier. Then she hugged the little girls while telling them everything was going to be fine.

Vincent went to a large sofa and placed the demon on it. Vincent then went to check up on the little girls and Sofy.

Lilith arrived breathing heavily and sat beside the demon for respite. However, Lilith was rooted to the sofa from a panic attack the moment she saw so many men looking at her with a frown.

[We took down one soldier sponsored by the Blackhearts, but I wonder why they were the ones to come here first. Well, either way, we can’t let them steal the evidence.]

“Sofy, are there more?” Vincent asked while menacingly glaring at the soldiers.

Sofy shook her head. “No. They barged in. We were waiting for you here when a soldier spotted us.” She said.

“You killed a soldier! You are under arrest for murder!” A soldier shouted.

“Is saving three little girls a sin now? I didn’t think killing animals was illegal in this kingdom.” Vincent replied with a deep hoarse voice.

“M-monster die!” A soldier pulled out his bow when Vincent’s presence intimidated him. He murmured “Wild Blow” and let the powered arrow loose.

[This bastard isn’t targeting you!]

Vincent shook his hands to remove the cloth around his hands and try to grab the arrow in time, but he was too late. Kazumi used Soul Invite, and Vincent gained the advantage of accelerated preception.

Vincent moved his arms to block the arrow, but the thickness of the cloth around his gauntlets made him miscalculate, and the arrow only grazed his gauntlet.

The arrow pierced the fabric. It started dropping down after losing some of its momentum and headed for one of the girls.

“No!” Vincent shouted.

However, a thing no one predicted happened. The demon woman gritted her teeth and rocked her body violently back and forth while enduring the pain. Before the demon woman was about to fall, she used all the strength in her legs and plunged forward.

The demon crashed into Sofy, which in turn, Sofy pushed the little girls she was hugging out of harm’s way. *Splatter* The powered arrow pierced the demon woman’s back before she landed on the ground with a pair of broken legs.

[It’s urgent! Turn now! Three soldiers with their blades are almost behind you!]
