A Husband For Killer Mom

Chapter 67

Anxia entered the changing room, which was only a few steps from her bed. This dressing room door was a sliding entrance, making a faint sound when she slid it.

Luckily her daughter didn’t wake up because of small noises, so Anxia didn’t have to worry about waking her up when she opened the locker room door.

Anxia walked in and looked at the neatly arranged clothes on each hanger attached to the wall. There were dresses, nightgowns, and casual attire, and the closet also had sexy lingerie and underwear piled on one wall.

Most of the clothes arranged there were the ones she and Richard had bought on their first day as husband and wife. Apparently, Richard brought most of the clothes and shoes to this place, making Anxia sigh softly.

Until now, Anxia couldn’t understand why that man was still willing to waste his fortune for a murderer like her.

Judging by the tone of the man’s voice, Richard didn’t like her profession as an assassin. But why was the man willing to spoil her with goods?

He didn’t even miss the chance to flirt and touch her!

If Richard only wanted her to satisfy his desires, he didn’t have to force her to marry him to give Lori a complete family.

.....

He could’ve asked her to be his bedmate.

If he had asked her to sleep with him, perhaps Anxia wouldn’t mind either as long as she got something as payment. She secretly admitted she enjoyed the man’s touch and how he adored her body by squeezing her breasts and buttocks.

It seemed that only that man could satisfy her desires in this world because Anxia felt disgusted and had the urge to cut off every man’s hand who tried to harass her sexually.

Ever since she had slept with Richard four years ago, Anxia hated to act as a call girl and couldn’t even pretend she liked it when she was on a mission.

However, Richard never talked about sleeping together or having sex. The man didn’t force her either and always stole the sneak touch with such trickery.

Why did Richard decide to bring a murderer into his family? Was the man not afraid that he would die at her hands one day?

After yesterday’s incident where she failed to kill that man, she realized Richard wouldn’t die quickly at her hands. That’s why Richard dared to bring her into his family.

At first, Anxia had no intention of leaving this family because she was beginning to enjoy her life as the wife of a typhoon. But... she still chose Ling Meng over being Richard’s wife.

If her best friend were in danger and needed her help, Anxia would prioritize her friend over this lucrative position.

Anxia chose a light shirt and a life jacket from the nearby storage area. Luckily she had a chance to look inside the small building that served as a warehouse to the east of the castle.

She found some handy tools, such as this life jacket and a flashlight to give light in the dark. Anxia chose a waterproof flashlight and a waterproof parasite bag. She put a spare shirt in the bag so he could change when she got to the other side of the island.

She also wears diving shoes to make it easier for her to swim without exerting all her strength. She stored the sneakers she would be wearing in her parasite bag.

After the preparations were complete, Anxia came out through the balcony of her room. She didn’t know the exact position of the camera and relied solely on her instincts to walk through the camera’s blind spot.

Each camera must have a blind spot, and Anxia hoped her guess was correct and the camera missed her.

Well, even if she were caught, she wouldn’t care. After all, Richard was still sleeping, and this security monitoring program wouldn’t wake Richard.

The security of this place was barely activated because no one would sneak in or out of this place. Outsiders couldn’t find this island, so they didn’t have to worry about robbers trying to steal valuables.

They also didn’t have to worry about a servant betraying their master because the culprit couldn’t escape from this place.

That was why no human watched CCTV cameras for twenty-four hours and instead relied on security programs designed to set the alarm when danger threatened.

Even if the camera caught Anxia sneaking out of the balcony of her room, the alarm would not sound as Anxia was not a threat.

However, Anxia didn’t expect or suspect that Richard was standing on the beach looking at her with an expressionless look, as if he was waiting for her to appear.

How did the man know? Shouldn’t the man be sleeping by now?

“I didn’t want to believe it at first and purposely brought Lori into your room to change your mind. But it looks like even Lori can’t change your decision. Did you have to go this far? Does that woman mean more than your daughter?”

“Since when did you know?” without answering Richard’s question, Anxia asked back.

“I don’t know. I’m just guessing.”

“You can’t stop me,” Anxia exclaimed firmly, then walked with steady steps.

“Right. I can’t stop you without forcing you. Unfortunately, violence is not my style, so feel free to go as you please.”

Anxia continued walking, ignoring Richard, towards the ocean when she heard Richard’s following sentence.

“But keep this in mind, once you throw yourself into the ocean, I’ll take Lori to America and hand her over to my brother’s family.”

Anxia’s steps stopped when she heard her husband’s last sentence.

Richard’s twin brother? Raymond? Does that mean her daughter will meet Michele Wong??

That... How could she let that happen?
