A Husband For Killer Mom

Chapter 191 - 191 Ch. 191 Is This A Dream?

Andrew was the first to get off the horse and stretched out his hand to help Harmonie down. At first, Harmonie was unsure whether she should accept the man’s helping hand or should she go down herself.

In the end, Harmonie placed her left hand over Andrew’s right hand and began to jump off Andrew’s stallion.

This black horse was Andrew’s pride; according to Harmonie―this horse was the dashing and tallest horse she had ever met. She did need some help getting on this horse, but she didn’t need any when it came to jumping from great heights. Nonetheless, Harmonie accepted the man’s aid. However, her heart pounded crazily when she heard a cello-like voice chuckling next to her ear.

“Are you okay? Your face is red.” Andrew tried to hold back his amused smile when he saw Harmonie acting awkwardly. He knew that Harmonie had turned quiet, and her face was blushing, and she didn’t dare to look into his eyes as usual. It was because Andrew approached the girl like a magnet was pulling him toward Harmonie.

Harmonie didn’t realize that Andrew was teasing her and tried to step back to put some distance between them. Alas, her back hit the stout body of Andrew’s black horse so that Harmonie couldn’t dodge at all.

“Andrew… did you eat something this morning? Why are you behaving so unusually?”

So far, their relationship has been very close. But, no matter how close their relationship was, Andrew had never approached her this intimately. It was as if the man was pinning her, so their front bodies seemed to stick together.

This man’s attitude this morning was bizarre. Very weird! Only yesterday, they agreed to be brother and sister, and Harmonie agreed to do it and decided to go back to burying her feelings. But why did the man’s demeanor turn strange like this? What kind of big brother would corner and be intimate with his little sister?

.....

Now Andrew’s hand was up and stroking Harmonie’s hair which had fallen from the pins due to the wind. Andrew pushed the hair toward the back of her ear with smooth and gentle movements.

Harmonie’s body shivered when Andrew’s fingers accidentally touched the skin of her earlobe. Or maybe he was touching her ear on purpose? Because right now, the hand was massaging the tip of her earlobe while running his thumb through her ear canal, making Harmonie’s heart seem to jump from its place.

“What… Andrew? What are you doing?” Harmonie was sure that her face was currently filled with a tomato-red hue. She felt her face heat up and believed that steam had escaped from the top of her head. He even had to slip her hands between their bodies to prevent Andrew from pressing his body any closer.

“Moni… I lied to you.” Andrew’s confession made Harmonie raise her head to meet the man’s green eyes in confusion. “Ever since I understood what love is or knows what is called intimate relationships, I can’t look at you like I’m supposed to.”

Harmonie held her breath, and if her heartbeat could beat even faster, perhaps her pulse would have accelerated at a very high speed. She was amazed and excited when she realized Andrew’s green eyes were looking at her lovingly.

“Since then, never have I looked at you the way I looked at Quinn. You’re not my sister; I don’t want you to be one. I look at you the way a man looks at his beloved.”

Harmonie’s legs went limp like jelly when she heard the man’s last exclamation. She wondered why did Andrew chase her away if that was the case? Since when has Andrew looked at her as a man?

This must be a dream. Harmonie convinced herself.

“I must be dreaming. This can’t be real, and this is for sure―” Harmonie couldn’t continue her words when she felt a gust of heat and a pair of springy objects landed on her forehead.

If this is a dream… why does Andrew’s kiss on her forehead feel real?

Andrew didn’t stop at one place and went downstairs to kiss Moni’s nose, making it hard for Harmonie to breathe.

Still, Harmonie believed this was a dream―a real-like beautiful dream.

Then Andrew moved and kissed Harmonie’s right eye making the girl close her eyes. As soon as she saw nothing, the sensitivity of her skin increased, and she could feel Andrew’s lips moving toward her left eye.

Her two hands, meant to separate their bodies―gripped the man’s coat shyly.

“This is not a dream, Moni.”

Harmonie’s eyelashes fluttered as she tried to open her eyes again. Her eyes were unfocused as the man’s feather-like kisses lulled her. This was like a dream for her. She has had feelings for this man for almost seven years, and for those years, she has had to endure hiding her feelings from her family members.

“I… this is hard to believe.”

Andrew smiled at that. Harmonie’s voice, which usually sounded loud, cheerful, and without hesitation, now sounded like a kitten asking for milk.

“Then you probably won’t believe I’ve held it in much longer than you, either.”

“What do you mean?” Harmonie didn’t need an answer when she felt Andrew’s thumb gently stroking her lower lip. She felt her head burning again, and a strange tingling she had never felt before spread throughout her body.

Andrew lowered his face and tilted his head slightly to land his lips on the lips he had tasted before.

Harmonie’s grip on Andrew’s shirt tightened even more when she felt the breath coming from the man’s nose hit her cheek. Harmonie closed her eyes as if to give the man permission to do whatever he wanted.

Seeing a pair of closed eyes made Andrew smile, and he planted his lips on the girl he had yearned for more than ten years.

Harmonie’s first kiss was sweet and tender. There was no impression of being rushed or domineering. She felt like she was floating in the sky with the wind blowing gently on her skin and the light shining on her body with warmth.

Andrew’s lips on hers were sweet and addicting. Now Harmonie knew why the male in her family loved to kiss their wife.
